EMEA VC Summit in Brussels
After having stayed most of my Sunday in Paris right after The Next Web in Amsterdam, I travelled again Monday morning via the 7am Thalys to attend a conference organized by Microsoft: EMEA VC Summit in Brussels.
Small anecdote on my way there… when I arrived at the Station of Gare du Nord in Paris, I was sitting at the terrace of a snack bar to take a fresh orange juice and to check my emails and my twitts. And there’s my Mac offering to me to connect to a network entitled “Fuck Microsoft”, I then look at the list of HotSpots available and discoverd that all WiFi of the SNCF were hacked, opened and renamed…
After 1h20 of train, here I am in Brussels, speed stop by the hotel to just be able at the end t o attend the breakfast organized by Microsoft.EMEA VC Summit is probably one of the conferences which joined together the greatest number of VC, since there were of them approximately 200 for 26 start-up present. An excellent ratio which has allows to present The Todeka Project to good numbers of VC.
We saw the wall of the room with 2 giant screens starting to lean seriously until some of the attendies in the front row rise of only one man to retain it before it does collapse on the panel of speakers
